Hydroma

Hydroma is a formation that occurs as a result of the accumulation of fluid inside joints or ligaments. It can occur anywhere in the body, but is most commonly found in the knee, elbow, shoulder and wrist areas.

Hydroma can be caused by various reasons, such as injury, overexertion, infection or an allergic reaction. When fluid accumulates in a joint, it can lead to pain, swelling, and limited mobility.

Treatment for hygroma may include rest, ice, heat, and medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). In some cases, surgery may be required to remove the fluid.

However, hydroma may go away on its own without treatment, especially if it is caused by injury or overexertion. It is important to see a doctor if the hydroma does not go away or causes severe pain or swelling.
