Kirschner bone grafting

Kirschner plastic is a procedure for splitting bone tissue and then replacing it with a graft: implanting a special cylinder into the bone and placing the latter in the wound to fuse with the patient’s surrounding bone tissue. It is a method of treating bone tissue damage that occurs during the management of patients after oncological operations. During this operation, the bone material is cut off and replaced with an artificial implant. This reduces the rejection of foreign material.
