Spermatic cord cyst

**Spermatic (straight) cord cyst** is a sac-shaped protrusion of the mucous membrane located in the superolateral part of the inguinal canal in men, and can sometimes be located closer to the surface in women. This disease most often occurs in young people aged 18 to 35 years. Because spermatic cord cysts contain nerve tissue, this disease can cause severe pain when walking, physical activity, and rest, as well as other health problems.
