Maternity leave

Maternity leave is a legal guarantee. The legislation of the Russian Federation requires that a pregnant woman be provided with leave to prepare for childbirth so that she can undergo the necessary examinations and procedures without compromising her work. This free and guaranteed guarantee not only benefits the individual himself, but also his employer. According to labor legislation, pregnant women have the right to rest in connection with pregnancy and childbirth. From the moment they are given notice of this, they must receive a period of rest from the employer in connection with the condition of the pregnancy, so that they can fully prepare for the birth and the time thereafter.

According to Russian law, pregnant women are given maternity leave of 20 weeks up to a maximum of 40 weeks.
