Mineral Waters Sulfide

Sulfide mineral waters are mineral waters containing at least 10 milligrams per liter of sulfides (H₂S, HS). Sulfides are sulfur compounds and are usually found in mineral waters in the form of H₂S or HS⁻ ions. Sulfide mineralization may be due to natural processes, such as the formation of sulfide minerals from hydrothermal reactions, or may be the result of artificial addition of sulfides to mineral waters to enhance their medicinal properties.

Sulfides can have different effects on the human body, depending on their concentration and composition. In low concentrations, they can improve the functioning of the digestive system and also reduce blood cholesterol levels. However, at high concentrations, sulfides can cause discomfort in the stomach and intestines, as well as allergic reactions.

Sulfide mineral waters are widely used in medicine to treat various diseases, such as diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, liver and kidneys, as well as to improve metabolism and enhance immunity. They can be used either as monotherapy or in combination with other treatment methods.

However, before you start using sulfide mineral waters, you must consult your doctor and make sure there are no contraindications. It is also important to consider that some types of sulfide mineralization may contain harmful substances such as arsenic and mercury, which can cause serious health problems.
