Nerve Infraorbital

**The infraorbital nerve** is one of the branches of the trigeminal nerve roots in the periorbital region. It consists of four branches: the greater petrosal nerve; small rocky channel; sympathetic nerve and infraorbital canal. The nerve supplies blood to all the muscles of the face and the skin around the eyes. If the nerve is damaged, the movement of the periocular muscles becomes difficult, which leads to their paralysis. In this case, surgery may be performed to repair the nerve.
