Sarcosporidiosis

Sarcosporidosis is a disease caused by protozoa of the Sarcocystinae type from the Apicomplexa group and is characterized by predominant muscle damage. Synonyms: muscle fluke, brugioz, or sarcocinchiosis.

Sarcosporidium are large sporozoites of pear-shaped or cylindrical shape, 28-38×8-14 µm. The body is covered with a thin outer shell, along the dorsal side of which in some cases there are 4 larvae. naya parasimorphic core.
