Soxhlet apparatus

The name of the German chemist Richard Soxhlet is well known to students of chemistry departments. At the age of 30, he published the monograph “Properties of Liquids,” which became the first book on liquids and their physical properties written in German. A decade later he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. It was the most
