So, what devices and training devices are used to train hockey players on the ground?

A device for training hockey players on the ground.

The device was originally developed and primarily intended for training and improving the striking technique of a hockey player. With its help, under the guidance of a coach, attacking puck shooting is improved in the gym or on the ground in the open air in the summer.

The device (Fig. 1) consists of an elongated platform and a rectangular wall. A longitudinal through groove runs almost along the entire length of the wall. On each side of the gutter there are guide elements that are parallel to the gutter and the wall. Under the wall there is a trolley with freely rotating rollers, which moves along the guide elements. A vertical stand extends from the cart through a chute and rises above the training wall. There is a washer attached to the top of the post. At the moment when a player shoots the puck, the cart moves from one end of the chute to the other.

By the way, since we are talking today about a game that real men play, we will tell you a cool online store where you can buy hockey equipment for every taste, size and color. This store will delight even the most demanding hockey player with its range and quality of goods, both a green beginner and a seasoned professional...

The device was initially positioned for golfers, but after successful testing and implementation of it in the training process, it now successfully serves to practice the player’s strokes in hockey, golf, field hockey and other sports disciplines - it helps regulate the position of the legs and joint angles. All professional golfers use this training device without fail. Well, and of course, specialized training of hockey players on the ground and outside the rink takes place not without his participation...

The device (Fig. 2) has two detachably connected elastic non-stretchable rods of different lengths. The ends of the rods are attached to the athlete’s belt. The opposite ends of the rods are detachably fastened together with connecting links. Vertically located sections of the rod of great length are connected by a lower curved section adjacent to the legs of the trainee. Both rods hang down freely. A vertical section of the rod of greater length is movably connected to the second rod. During training for hockey players and golfers, this simple design allows you to limit the distance between the athlete's legs and helps him bend them correctly when throwing the puck or hitting the ball. In this case, one rod is equipped with a device for changing the total length of the rods.
