A blow

A stroke is a rupture of a blood vessel and an outpouring of blood into the brain tissue. Sometimes it also happens due to blockage of a cerebral vessel.

If you have a blow, you should call a doctor immediately.

If you have to help the patient yourself, then you need to take the following measures: undress the patient, put him in bed so that his head is higher, put an ice pack on his head, apply mustard plasters to his feet. If there is no mustard in the house (dry mustard), then put the patient in a semi-sitting position on the bed, put ice on his head, and lower his feet into a bucket of very hot water, but so as not to burn him.

When the patient comes to his senses, you need to give him an enema with salt or vinegar (not essence), and when the stomach has worked, give him a laxative - infused Alexandria leaf or its pods, or a tablespoon of Glauber's salt.

If it turns out that after the blow the patient received paralysis on one side - arms, legs, tongue, etc., then you need to put an ice pack not on the side that is paralyzed, but on the other and put the ice all the time until the patient’s head hurts , otherwise the hemorrhage may recur. When the headache stops hurting, you need to rub the paralyzed parts with a volatile ointment (1 part alcohol to 2 parts some vegetable oil). It is also good to rub with ether, but not close to the fire so that the ether does not flare up.

If you rub it well with ether in the evening, then the next day in the morning lubricate the ground parts with Vaseline, and in the evening again with ether.

If after the blow the patient recovers, then he needs to be very careful in the future, especially with regard to mental activities. He cannot have any alcohol, nothing fatty, and if possible meat and sugar.

Folk remedy: when struck, the veins on both arms are pierced when the elbow is bent and black blood is released until light blood flows. If she goes, then the danger of immediate death for the patient passes.
