Eyes: how to properly care for them and improve vision

Eyes are one of the most important human organs. They allow us to see the world around us and receive information about it. But, like any other organ, the eyes need care and protection. In this article, we will look at several ways to help you take proper care of your eyes and improve your vision.

Eye cleansing

Before you start caring for your eyes, you need to remember that the eyes are a very sensitive organ, so you should be careful when coming into contact with them. Never rub your eyes with the inside of your fingers, especially in the morning before washing your face, as this way it is very easy to introduce any infection into your eyes. You should always wipe them with a clean handkerchief or, at the very least, with the outside of your finger joints.

Eye Refreshment

Compresses made from strong tea or a weak infusion of chamomile or wormwood help to refresh tired eyes. Honey lotions are also good for the eyes. To do this, boil a teaspoon of real honey in one and a half glasses of water.

Eye massage

For nervous eye diseases (nerve twitching), massage on the temples, around the eyes and on the bridge of the nose helps.

Redness and inflammation of the eyes

If the wind “blows into your eyes” and redness appears in them, then it is enough to rinse them with a decoction of onions in water with the addition of a little honey or boric acid. The redness goes away quickly. You need to rinse 4-5 times a day. If for some reason the eyes are very inflamed, not only redness has appeared in them, but also a burning sensation, then it is good to apply grated raw potatoes, or apples, or fresh cucumbers to such eyes in a cloth. Place a very hot, wet rag on your neck, below the back of your head.

Salty shni

If the eyes begin to squint, which sometimes happens after diphtheria, this indicates a weakening of the ligaments, it is necessary to apply salt to the eyes. If the disease gets worse, then you will have to have an operation, albeit a minor one.

Eye wash

If the eyes begin to fester or secrete a lot of mucus, then they should be washed with a solution of boric acid, and at night you can put fresh cottage cheese on them on a cloth.

Improved vision

There are several ways to improve low vision. The most effective of them are:

  1. Gymnastics of the eye muscles. You need to turn the eyeball up, down and to the sides 30 times in a row every day. In addition, when washing, gently hit your eyes with a handful of cold water 40 times in a row to increase blood circulation.

  2. Eating lamb liver. For one hundred days, drink a brew from 1/4 pound of lamb liver and then eat this liver. It is best to eat on an empty stomach in the morning and before lunch. You can't skip a few days. If you don’t have lamb liver, you can use beef liver, but it is weaker.

  3. Drink a small glass of ginger infusion with vodka every day.

  4. Using the herb eyebright. Rinse your eyes twice a day with an infusion of eyebright herb or apply compresses from its infusion to your eyes. You can also take this herb orally on the tip of a knife in a spoon daily (if the herb is in powder). Eyebright makes the eyes very healthy and vision improves.

Taking care of your eyes is not only important for keeping your eyes healthy, but also for improving your vision. We hope that our tips will help you maintain the beauty and health of your eyes for many years. But if you have any problems with your eyes, be sure to consult an ophthalmologist.
