During the digestion of food, enzymes begin their action in the oral cavity. Next, the food moves through the esophagus and enters the stomach. Due to the contraction of the stomach, it is mixed with gastric juice and intestinal juice, where some chemical processing occurs. And then it begins its movement through the small intestine. It almost always moves in one direction - along the axis of the body. Its movement may be interrupted where the digestive organs are located, but it does not change the direction of its movement, but simply changes its speed. At the junction of the small intestine to the posterior abdominal cavity, we see in the left half of the abdomen an accumulation of blood with thin and thick folds in the form of a truncated pyramid. This is the mesentery of the small intestine. She has the royal apple on top. The connection between the intestine and the uterus is formed as a result of the fusion of their lower sections. This place is called the Bauhinian valve, consisting of a membrane and fused muscle flaps.
