Heart Callus

A callus of the heart is an expression that refers to an emotional experience a person has as a result of a difficult situation or challenge that has left a deep mark on their heart. These experiences can be either positive or negative, and in each case they produce deep emotional feelings and attachments to certain things or people who were part of the experience.
