Hemoglobinuric fever

Hemoglobinuria fever is an infectious disease caused by bacteria of the genus Vibrio cretaceus. Symptoms of the disease may appear within hours of oral exposure, such as after eating contaminated food. Fever has a number of characteristic symptoms, including weakness, abdominal pain, diarrhea and vomiting. However, the greatest danger is jaundice, which appears in many patients. This disease requires prompt medical attention and the use of antibiotics.
