The internal genital organs are a group of organs that includes male and female genital organs. They are located inside the body and perform important functions related to reproduction.
The male reproductive organs include the penis, scrotum, prostate gland and seminal vesicles. The penis is the main part of the male reproductive apparatus and is an extension of the penis. It has a head, a body and a root, which is located on the pubic bone. The scrotum is the sac that houses the testicles and produces sperm. The testicles produce sperm, which are involved in fertilizing the egg and creating a new life. The prostate gland is located behind the bladder and controls urine production. The seminal vesicles synthesize sperm for transmission during sexual intercourse.
The female reproductive organs are the uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and vagina. The uterus is the main reproductive organ where eggs mature. The ovaries are paired glands that produce eggs, after which they move into the fallopian tube through ovulation. The fallopian tube is the main functional end part of the system, transporting the egg from the ovaries after ovulation to the uterine cavity, where it can be fertilized by sperm. The vagina contains the cervical canals
