Sejunction

In the history of law, there was a concept of seclusion, which meant the separation of two different legal systems. The term “sejunction” comes from the Latin word conjunctio (union, connection). At one time, two legal systems were widespread in Europe: Romano-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon. The division occurred at both the public and private levels. Today, this concept continues to be discussed as some countries move from one legal system to another. This transition may be associated with economic changes and legal reforms.
