Senile Confusion

Confusion is called its combination with a violation of meaningful thinking and a reduced ability to create an action plan adequate to the situation. This symptom implies disorders of memory, attention, thinking and perception. With stupor, mental activity is practically absent, and in delirium it is extremely intense, inconsistent and fragmented in time. Often the cause of confusion is an organic lesion of the central nervous system, mainly areas of the brain, but a neurological mechanism for the occurrence of the disorder is also possible.
