Inflammation Protective

Protective inflammation is a term used in medicine to describe the body's response to various irritants, such as viruses, bacteria, injury, allergies and other factors. This inflammation helps protect the body from infection and other negative influences. However, under certain conditions, inflammation can become chronic and lead to serious diseases such as arthritis, cardiovascular disease and others.

Defensive inflammation (in Latin i.defensiva), is a basic protective reaction of the human body. Signaled through histamine, it acts first on the walls of blood vessels (dilation).
