Counter for measuring the number of punches of boxers.
The simulator allows you to determine the number of blows delivered during training sessions during the training of boxers.
The design of the counter is as follows (Fig. 1): 1 - boxer mask; 2 - sensors; 3 — boxer’s T-shirt; 4 — connecting wires; 5 — plug connections; 6 - special belt consisting of an electromagnetic counter 7; 8 - power supply.
Sensors are glued parallel to the masks and T-shirts of boxers. The leads from them are connected to the power supply and electromagnetic counters. Metallized fabric is glued to the striking part of the glove. During training, when a blow is struck with a glove in the head (on the mask) or in the torso, an electrical circuit is closed, providing power to the electromagnetic counter. The sensors should be glued in such a way as to avoid short-circuiting and displacement of the metallized fabric when the boxer performs complex movements (dive, dodge, tilt).

Let's consider another useful device... Training a boxer using this training device allows the athlete to achieve an increase in speed and strength qualities, a specific perception of combat situations, and improvement of counterattack actions without a partner in counter and response forms.
The simulator for a boxer is designed to build a dynamic picture of an athlete’s blow in a combat match, to measure the strength and time of defensive reactions in attacking and counterattacking actions. It is a combination of a time and force meter.
The electronic time counter (Fig. 2, a) consists of the following parts: force sensor 1; time sensors 2, 3; amplifier 4, power amplifier 5, differentiating circuit 6, end of impact circuit 7, start of impact circuit 8, delay circuit 9.
The impact force sensor (Fig. 2, b) is a mechanical oscillatory system that responds to a force impulse acting on the sensor when a boxer hits.
The armature of the force sensor 3 slides freely over the surface 6 with minimal friction, which can be neglected. The anchor is clamped on one side by spring 5, on the other by stop 2.
When a force impulse Q is applied, the armature begins to move in the direction of the vector Q until the average impact force is equal to the reaction force of the compressed spring N. The distance X that the armature travels is recorded by a discrete type photodiode sensor 1. If there were no stop, then the armature would oscillate several times when impulse Q was applied. But all vibrations, except the first one, will disappear thanks to the emphasis. The magnitude of the force impulse can be judged by the amplitude of the first oscillation of the system.
When a force pulse Q is applied, the armature moves, and the light flux between the lighting lamp 4 and the photodiode sensor is blocked by the holes in the body of the armature. Each time the photodiode sensor is blocked by the armature body, a series of pulses is formed at the output. The greater the armature stroke, the more illumination pulses received from the photodiode sensor to the input of the electronic pulse counter.
When athletes maneuver around the ring, one of them, on the instructions of the coach, strikes, turning on the time sensor, or makes various movements with his arms, torso or legs, while also influencing the sensor. The other boxer reacts with an attacking or counter-attacking blow or a defensive movement, stopping the stopwatch. Indicators appear on the digital display: time to select defensive actions and force of impact on a moving enemy.
