Appendicitis Retrocecal

The name Retrocecal appendicitis is explained by the fact that it is a rare disease that is manifested by a strong inflammatory process of the appendix. At the same time, its lymphoid tissue becomes inflamed. The disease begins to manifest itself with rapidly spreading tissue necrosis (death). A severe pain syndrome develops, which is characteristic of appendicitis and is much stronger than the pain experienced by healthy people.

The symptoms of Retrotype appendicitis are similar to those of a general disease, but differ in the intensification of the syndrome. Characteristic changes in the color of stool, heartburn, vomiting, arrhythmia, constipation or diarrhea. The latter can be atypical and after its cancellation in the first few days, stool resumes without drugs. A burning sensation in the abdomen is also possible. The disease can occur in the form of a hyperacute attack, fulminant or acute process. The disease mainly occurs in adult men, but is extremely rare among women. In children, the disease is diagnosed extremely rarely. Very often the disease is detected suddenly and is not accompanied by complications.
