Histiocytosis Malignant

Histiocytes are simple macrophages that play an important role in the body's immune defense. However, if their number increases and becomes abnormal, they can become cancerous, forming a tumor called malignant histiocyte. Most people diagnosed with the disease have this hereditary tumor. However, there are also cases of acquired form.

Histioses include a group of diseases that affect other systems of the body. These may include the circulatory, bone, cartilage and muscle systems. This tumor can appear at any age, although it is more common in men.

When histiocents begin to grow steadily, they will fill more and more space and interfere with the normal functioning of the organs. Ultimately, the tumor can spread to other organs, causing harm to health.
