Pompe Disease

**Pompe disease** is a genetic disease that is characterized by impaired muscle function and slow atrophy.

Due to the disease, normal muscle movement slows down, which leads to decreased physical activity and even complete immobility. If the disease is not treated, the muscles can completely atrophy.

The disease leads to:

- Impaired body functions - Lack of nutrition - Insufficient tissue restoration. - Protein metabolism disorders. - Vascular pulmonary hypertension.
