The well-known publication The Wall Street Journal reports that a widely advertised gel for increasing libido in women after menopause, developed by the American pharmaceutical company BioSante Pharmaceutical Inc, has failed tests.
American scientists conducted a study during which they tested the effectiveness of a drug designed to increase sexual desire in women on a group of representatives of the fair sex. It turned out that it increased hormone levels, but did not cause sexual desire.
The results announced by experts affected sales of the gel to increase libido: the limited edition drug was no longer purchased, and during the day of trading on the stock exchange, BioSante Pharmaceutical Inc shares lost about 80% in price.
Let us remind you that sexologists recommend that women increase their libido with the help of available seafood, caviar, nuts, celery, coffee, chocolate and aromatic oils.
