Gland Pancreas Aberrant

The pancreas, or pancreas, is a digestive organ that is located behind the stomach, in front of the small intestine. It consists of a head, body and tail, from which the pancreatic duct arises. The gland produces pancreatic juice, pepsin and lipases, which are involved in the breakdown of fats, proteins and carbohydrates.

However, a developmental abnormality may occur in which the pancreas does not conform to its normal location. This is called a deviation or aberrance, and the phenomenon occurs due to genetic mutations or errors during the embryonic development stage.
