Enterococcus

Enterococci are microbes that live in the intestines of humans and many animals, in particular domestic animals, cows and sheep. In science, this type of microorganism is known as Escherichia coli (Bacillus). By the way, it finds application in many areas of life: in the food and canning industry; in crop production and animal husbandry; in medical and cosmetology institutions; also used in pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, for the production of alcohol, viscose, leather processing, cellulose, food additives, etc. Enterococcus is even added to pig feed. But the microorganism is of greatest importance in the medical field. Thus, enterobacteria serves as a good material for the development of antibiotics, and also has a therapeutic effect.
