Blood circulation Extracorporeal

Extracorporeal circulation is a method of artificial circulation. It involves artificially maintaining the constant functioning of the blood circulation during surgical operations in the human body, or when natural mechanisms cannot maintain it. When EKC is used, the blood that is flowing in the body during surgery is either stopped and removed for treatment, or additional veins and arteries are included in the body. The blood is then washed, processed and redirected to the cardiovascular system again.

Treatment using the extracorporeal circulation method is used for many diseases, including severe injuries, decompensated heart diseases, accidents
