Leukocyte Acidophilus

Leukocyte acidophilus (L. acidophilus) is a species of bacteria from the genus Lactobacillus. These bacteria are gram-positive rod-shaped microorganisms that are widely distributed in nature and are found in the gastrointestinal tract of humans and animals.

L. acidophilus plays an important role in maintaining normal intestinal microflora. These bacteria have probiotic properties - they suppress the growth of pathogenic microorganisms, improve digestion and absorption of nutrients, and stimulate the immune system. In addition, L. acidophilus synthesizes lactic acid, creating an acidic environment in the intestines, which prevents the development of putrefactive processes.

L. acidophilus is widely used in the production of probiotic products and dietary supplements. The use of drugs based on acidophilic leukocytes helps to normalize the intestinal microflora in case of dysbacteriosis, and also has a preventive effect.
