Leptomeningitis Basal

Leptomeningitis is an inflammatory lesion of the soft membrane of the spinal cord. Leptogenic invasion initially enters these areas through the blood. From there, the infection spreads through the blood vessels to the cerebral cortex and spinal cord membranes, causing primary aseptic inflammation (the initial stage of meningitis). As a rule, this does not result in a large number of attacks; the maximum that is possible is a few days of lethargy. Then the patient's condition improves.
