Edema Inflammatory

Inflammation is a complex protective reaction of the body to the introduction of an infectious or non-infectious agent, traumatic tissue damage or cellular damage caused by factors acting on the basis of the body's structure.

It is important to understand the difference between inflammatory and other types of edema. The formation of edema due to capillary expansion is not inflammation, but a circulatory disorder. Sometimes doctors consider this phenomenon as the starting point for the development of an inflammatory reaction. With swelling, the joints and soft tissues appear bright, become hard, painful, the contours of the swelling are smoothed out, and areas of redness and sensitivity disorders may form. The most important difference between varicose tumors is that they can go away on their own. This is due to the fact that when there is insufficient blood flow, capillaries expand and become damaged.
