Resistance Natural

Resistance is immunity to various infections, in particular bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases. This is a natural defense mechanism that has been developed by many generations of our species in the fight against infections. It is the basis of the immune system and allows the body to resist the spread of infections. However, recently scientists have begun to notice that the level of natural resistance in people is falling. As a result, many of us have become susceptible to various diseases caused by viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms to which in the past our bodies would have been immune.

Natural resistance depends on many factors, including the presence of antibodies, immune defense factors, and adaptation to the presence of a specific foreign agent. Antibodies are protein structures produced by the immune system to fight various infectious agents. They can be of either viral or bacterial origin. Immune defense factors include interferons, pro-inflammatory cytokines and interleukins - molecular messengers responsible for transmitting signals between immune cells and activating their functions. Adaptation to a specific foreign agent also plays an important role in the body’s resistance. When an antigen first enters the body, immune system cells recognize it and begin to produce specific antibodies. When the same antigen enters the body again, the antibodies will be ready to meet it. The body's resistance decreases in the absence of activation of the antigen receptor by T lymphocytes, since this receptor binds the cell antigen and mediates the release of cytokines that cause a specific cytotoxic response.

Decreased natural resistance can have many causes, such as poor diet, alcohol and tobacco use, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, exposure to toxins and polluted environments, and immunosuppressive medications. As the body ages, there is also a decline in natural defense mechanisms, including natural resistance to infections. Active Cellular Augmentation (ACT) treatments - such as multivitamin supplementation and natural immune modulators - should be considered to enhance the body's natural defenses at this time.
