A nursing woman should not eat a lot of meat or drink alcohol, as after this the child suffers from constipation, becomes restless, and does not sleep.

If the mother has little milk, then the following remedies are good to increase it:

From pharmaceutical means for increasing milk, it is good to take 3-4 teaspoons per day of lactagol, this is an extract from cotton seeds in powder.

When the mother already has too much milk and it is desirable for one reason or another to reduce its flow, then the following remedies help: drink tea from alder leaves or peppermint.

And from pharmaceutical drugs, potassium iodide and atropine reduce the flow of milk, but these drugs should be prescribed by a doctor depending on the health of the mother. Also reduces the effect of a warming compress of camphor oil.

A very good remedy for increasing milk is bertholite salt, but not everyone can tolerate it, they become weak, and besides, it cannot be bought without a doctor’s prescription.

It is taken like this: you need to dilute 28 g of berthollet salt in 600 g of water and drink 3 times a day, 2 tablespoons before meals. The results are obtained very quickly.

The baby should be breastfed through a hole made in the buttoned bodice, then the breasts will not retract and lose their shape.

If you have to take a wet nurse, then the difference in age between your child and the wet nurse’s child should not be more than 8 weeks. A good nurse gives up to 7 glasses of milk per day.
