Amputation Aperiosteal

Aperiostotomy is a type of surgical intervention for inflammatory-destructive diseases of the jaws, which consists of excision of the periosteum along its entire thickness without exposing the bone. Aperiostectomy is an operation aimed at removing periosteal structures. It can be performed under the following conditions: the presence of a limited focus of damage to the periosteal tissue, previous treatment of this damage by conservative means, if this did not give the desired result, and the risk of serious consequences of treatment associated with damage to bone tissue.
