Martina Bouillon

Martin Bouillon is a French bacteriologist, one of the founders of bacteriology.
He was born on January 2, 1864 in Chalon-sur-Marne. In 1882, Martin Bouillon entered the medical faculty of the University of Paris, where he studied bacteriology under the guidance of Jules Bordet and Louis Pasteur. In 1895, Martin Bouillon became professor of bacteriology at the Sorbonne and director of the laboratory of infectious diseases in Paris.

Martin Bouillon was famous for his research on bacteria that cause disease in humans.
