Imaginary Feeding

Mock feeding is a research method used to study conditioned reflexes in animals. It consists of placing a fistula on the animal’s stomach and at the same time creating an esophageal fistula in its neck so that food can flow out. The animal is then given food that causes the secretion of gastric juice.

This method makes it possible to study how conditioned reflexes are related to the secretion of gastric juice and what factors influence this process. It can also be used to study the effect of various factors on the secretion of gastric juice, such as stress, hunger, etc.

Imaginary feeding is one of the most common research methods in physiology and medicine. It allows scientists to obtain important information about the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and its regulation, as well as the influence of various factors on digestion.
