Food Ration Autonomous Submariners

Food rations for an autonomous underwater ship (ASSC) are a food ration intended for the personnel of a submarine ship when going to sea for a period of more than 6 hours. PAPC is one of the most important elements of supporting the life of the underwater crew and includes food, drinks, as well as special supplements and medicines.

When compiling the PAPC, the physiological characteristics of the underwater crew are taken into account, such as increased stress on the respiratory system, as well as the need to maintain a high level of performance and endurance in conditions of limited access to fresh food. PAPC contains products that are easily digestible and do not require long-term heat treatment.

Today I want to talk about such an interesting term as “Underwater food rations”. This is a ration that is intended for personnel of submarine ships who are separated from the coastal base for a long time. The period during which the personnel of a submarine vessel must eat these products is not less than 6 and not more than 24 hours
