Bacteriolbgia

Bacteriology is a branch of microbiology that deals with the study of bacteria.

General bacteriology studies the classification, structure and chemical composition of bacteria, the ability of bacteria to grow on various nutrient media and the resulting changes in nutrient substrates, as well as the effect of environmental factors on bacteria.

Medical bacteriology studies the properties of pathogenic (pathogenic) bacteria for humans, methods of their isolation, diagnosis, issues of immunity, and others.

There is also veterinary bacteriology, which studies the causative agents of infectious diseases in animals, sanitary, agricultural and industrial bacteriology.
