Occupational stomatitis is a disease characterized by inflammation of the mucous membranes of the mouth. Stomatitis with eosinophilic phaging occurs due to a number of specific causes that are not inherent in other types of stomatitis (mechanical injuries). Most often, its development is associated with damage to the internal respiratory organs: lungs, bronchi or mediastinal tissues, usually observed in combination with asthmatic bronchitis and blood eosinophilia. In the oral cavity, single or multiple aphthae are observed, having a rounded shape and sizes from a small coin to 2-3 mm in diameter; the hemorrhagic contents are yellowish-gray in color.
