Bathing

Bathing is an important hygienic procedure, since about 30 substances with different odors are released through the skin. If the skin is very sensitive to soap, then it can be replaced with batter made from any flour, mustard powder.

To wash, dilute a tablespoon of flour in a glass of cool water, add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. For bathing, you can use pre-soaked (for 10-15 minutes) oat, wheat, and rye flakes. The resulting slurry is placed in a linen bag or washcloth-mitten, the body is rubbed well, then rinsed with water. Such procedures not only cleanse the skin, but also nourish it with mineral salts, vitamins, glucose, etc. A soap substitute can be used once every 2-3 days.

  1. For dry skin and itchy skin, dilute essential oil in 100 g of natural apple cider vinegar and add to the bath.
    1. Bran and oatmeal contain oils and vegetable hormones that soothe and soften the skin. You can add 1/4 cup of whey to them. Place this mixture in a gauze bag and lower it into the bath.
      1. Essential oil can be diluted in 1 tbsp. l. honey and add to the bath.
        1. You can make your own bathing salts. Add to 2 tbsp. l. sea ​​salt essential oil or mixture of oils according to the dosage indicated for the specific oil.
          1. During bathing, up to 1 billion different microorganisms are washed off the skin.

In hard water, when interacting with detergents, insoluble magnesium and calcium soaps that clog skin pores, disrupting excretory and respiratory functions. Therefore, hard water is softened by boiling or adding borax, boric acid, etc.

• When taking a bath with sea salt, you should not use soap, as it will clot and contaminate the skin.
