**Beer method** is a methodological approach to the design of production systems based on the basic concepts of project management. This approach was proposed to overcome many of the limitations of traditional project management methods (PRINCE2, PMI® Project Management Body of Knowledge), especially in the aspects of product life cycle accounting and process phasing. The main idea of the method is that the production of complex projects is a chain of interconnected stages, and the development of the product occurs during its creation. Each stage of the chain is a stage in the “life cycle” of the product. The stages differ not only in the content of the work, but also in the management features, so different methods and techniques are used. All stages are interconnected by a clearly defined sequence of work. With proper prioritization, management of all stages of the project is achieved.
