Chromodiagnosis

Chromodiagnostic study

Modern technologies are used in genetics to identify hereditary diseases using genetic tests. Genetic diseases occur due to mutations in genes that control the development of healthy cells. These changes result in abnormalities that alter the appearance and functioning of the body, which can lead to death.

Chromodiagnostics is a medical DNA analysis that allows you to identify diseases in the early stages of development and help prevent their further development. To do this, a DNA segment of a particular patient is deciphered and compared with similar ones in other people and known diseases. Saliva or blood can be used as a sample. There are several types of chromodiagnostics, each of which is used to identify specific diseases. For example, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is used to detect DNA from cancer and identify infections such as hepatitis C.
