Brachydactyly is hereditary
Hereditary brachydactyly is a congenital abnormality of the hands and feet, characterized by shortening of the fingers.
The cause of hereditary brachydactyly is genetic mutations that disrupt the normal development of the limbs in the prenatal period. The disease has an autosomal dominant type of inheritance, that is, a mutated gene from one of the parents is enough for a child to be born with this pathology.
The main symptoms of hereditary brachydactyly:

Shortening of fingers and toes of varying degrees of severity.
