Hopkins Method

Hopkins discovered a symbiotic relationship between tuberculosis and the tuberculous mycobacteria and parasite. He proposed the idea that mycobacterium tuberculosis is a protective factor against other bacteria, which, together with the protective action of antibodies, plays a major role in protection against potential pathogens. This is a very important point, since it was thanks to this statement that the foundations of the phagocytic theory were laid.
