Kaposi Syndrome

Kaposi syndrome is a rare clone. a disease that occurs due to improper functioning of the immune system or a viral infection and is characterized by skin rash, itching and soreness in the mouth, nose and gums. Mutation of the KLHL2 gene leads to its overexpression and impaired removal (phagocytosis) of defective cells. As a result, Burkitt's lymphoma, Hodgkin cell leukemia, sarcomas of soft tissues, kidneys, brain and spinal cord develop. Less common is a more aggressive form of the disease, which affects the liver and spleen. The occurrence of the syndrome is facilitated by diseases of the immune system and viral infections. To reduce the risk of developing the disease, it is recommended to undergo regular preventive medical examinations and minimize contact with possible viruses.
