Special Processing

Special treatment is a set of chemical and physical-chemical measures designed to remove microbes from technological materials and production facilities, as well as from equipment and tools that have been in contact with the materials being processed. So, first of all, it is necessary to consider the qualitative and quantitative structure of the microflora of technological solutions containing biologically active substances, which depends on the purposes of their use. The special processing process includes the following steps:

1. Pre-treatment consists of thoroughly washing equipment (process tanks, pipelines, etc.) with solutions of foam detergents, hot water, and alkaline agents. 2. The preparatory stage consists of the following: before decontamination, special containers are dosed and installed inside the production premises; they will contain products to be treated with a special composition. 3. The stage of direct special treatment involves the repeated use of disinfecting solutions, which amount to about 85% of the volume remaining after preparing the room. The rest is neutralized production waste. 4. Control is mandatory at each stage of the processing process and consists of selective monitoring of the activity of chemical reagents. The effectiveness and quality of the disinfecting effect of the mixture is determined by the microbiological indicator, that is, by identifying the presence or absence of microorganisms in it. If bacterial contamination of the water is detected, treatment is continued, while its proportions are adjusted (the dose is increased by an amount equal to the volume of new portions of waste). This process is repeated until the final sample meets the requirements of SanPiN 2.1.4.559-96 “Drinking water. Hygienic requirements for water quality of centralized drinking water supply systems. Quality control". 5. The final stage (disinfection of objects) includes ventilation of premises, replacement of disinfectants, washing and drying of technological equipment, inventory, and furnishings of the premises.
