Xerosis

Xerosis is a skin disease characterized by dry skin, keratinization and peeling. The term “xerosis” was introduced by dermatologist K. Macklem in 1951, which translated means “dry”. Symptoms of xerosis usually develop in old age, but can occur in younger people.
