Boxing

Half-boxing is a boxing stance in which the athlete’s legs are in a half-bent position. This is one of the most common and effective positions for a boxer. It allows you to increase the distance to the enemy, reduce the risk of getting hit and better control the battle.

In half-boxing, the athlete's legs should be half-bent, knees bent, and feet parallel to each other. In this case, the head and shoulders should be higher than the hips. This position allows the fighter to more effectively control the distance and evade the enemy's blows.

Advantages of the half-box:

– Increasing the distance to the enemy. In half-boxing, the athlete is at a more convenient distance for attack and defense. This allows him to better control the fight and avoid getting hit.
– Reduced risk of getting hit. In semi-boxing, a fighter has less chance of getting hit to the head or body. He can defend against blows using his arms and legs.
– Improved combat control. The half-box allows the fighter to have more control over the fight, as he can move quickly and dodge enemy attacks.
– Possibility of using different strikes. In half boxing, you can use a variety of punches, such as straight, side and uppercuts.

However, the half-box also has its disadvantages:

– Risk of receiving a blow to the body. In semi-boxing, a boxer can get hit in the body if the opponent uses strong punches.
– Limitation in the use of strikes. In semi-boxing, not all punches can be used since the fighter is in a lower position.
