Psychotherapy

The concept of psychotherapy comes from Ancient Greece, where it meant “healing the soul” or helping with emotional disorders. Currently, this term refers to a set of treatment procedures aimed at improving the mental state and adjusting the mental well-being of the patient. The basis of such therapy is psychological support, which allows you to cope with stress and anxiety without harm to your health. This type of treatment is used when “ordinary” psychological practice has proven to be ineffective or the help of a more narrow specialization is needed.

Psychotherapy is considered scientifically based, this is confirmed by experimental data. It carries invaluable experience that helps people reconsider their relationships and views on certain situations. There are many types of such help; each person can choose the method that suits them under the strict guidance of a psychotherapist. There are two types of psychotherapy: 1. Psychodynamic therapy, which is characterized by finding out the causes of the client’s psychological problems during his personal conversation with the doctor 2. Behavioral psychotherapy, in which the specialist teaches the client to apply new behavioral skills.



Psychotherapy is a field of medicine in which, based on scientific knowledge about man and society, psychological assistance is provided to people. Its goal is to change the behavior of a person who has problems to be more adaptive to life. The result of therapy is an improvement in mental state, the ability to adapt to life and cope with stress. A psychologist helps change a person’s thinking and influences
