Reflex Protective

The defensive reaction, a reflex, develops a stable mental state that reduces internal arousal - against the background of an increased external threat. The defensive reaction is distinguished among other protective mechanisms due to its significant role in both the internal and external life of a person. The experience of emotion during a defensive reaction is very rich in range. It could be sadness, anger, fear. Behind such an action there is a threat to our integrity, which means that defensive behavior is perceived as unpleasant. But there are circumstances when failure to engage in protective behavior can provoke a catastrophe on an even larger scale. A basic example would be a situation related to road safety issues. Driving a vehicle involves a certain degree of risk; this is what people pay for the pleasure of using a vehicle. Ensuring the safety of personal transport is a task with equal chances of success and failure; it does not and cannot have reliable guarantees of protecting the personal physical shell; we are talking about improving the degree of mental protection.
