What is the best thing to wear to work in the gym?

Our editorial staff repeatedly receives the same hackneyed question: What is the best thing to wear to work in the gym? In our previous reviews, we dwelt in detail on the choice of shoes. We also discussed the outer part of clothing - an article about rashguards. Now it's time to talk about the bottom of our suit for the most productive training with iron.

So: what are the options here? Our statistical studies have shown that most athletes prefer:

  1. Sports trousers,
  2. Athletic shorts,
  3. Something like leggings, again in a short or long version.

All of these options are good for different occasions. For example, when it is cool, or you are supposed to work in outdoor conditions (the so-called Workout), it is better to prefer longer and warmer underwear. The same thing applies if the air conditioner in your fitness club is extremely cold. In summer and in conditions of high temperatures, it is better to prefer something as lightweight and breathable as possible. Personally, I like to wear my favorite shorts to training, and not just regular shorts - but MMA shorts. Not only are they very functional and do not restrict movement at all, they also look bold and brutal. I repeatedly notice: when I come to the gym, all the girls secretly glance sideways at my toned butt. Which, by the way, stimulates me even more to actively physically work on myself.

An important point is the composition from which the clothes are made. I prefer natural cotton with an absolute minimum of polyester and any other chemical crap. Your body will sweat when doing hard physical work. And synthetic materials can easily cause irritation. Do you need it? Therefore, when choosing clothes for the gym, I always look at the composition and materials used.

So, let's summarize all of the above. Requirements for the bottom of your clothing:

  1. Suitable for weather and operating temperature.
  2. Comfort and freedom of movement.
  3. Correct composition.
  4. Minimum stitches and other irritants.

Now you know what is best to wear to work in the gym? I hope we helped you make your choice. Well... See you at training!
