Poisoning occurs as a result of eating foods contaminated with microbes or their toxins (salmonella, staphylococcus, botulinum toxin).
Symptoms of poisoning
• headache, dizziness,
• general weakness,
• nausea,
• vomit,
• abdominal pain;
• diarrhea,
• thirst,
• breathing problems up to the point of stopping.
First aid for food poisoning
• provided as for oral poisoning;
• call an ambulance.
